The Border terrier was another long abiding passion for Mrs. Dunkley, who had had to wait seventeen year to realize the dream of owning and showing them, owing to the fact that she had four elderly Yorkies and Maltese whom she had loved and shown when she had lived in the city of London, England Finally, after the last of these elders passed away in the fall of '98 and after a few months of grieving the loss she started to search in the spring of '99 for some super young Borders with the potential to show. Finally she found two bitches and a dog that would fit the bill perfectly and Mr. Dunkley acquired a third bitch to complete the ensemble ready for his return to Canada with his Dales pony shipment. Subsequent to his return home they were also presented with another bitch who is on retirement from the Lions foundation, who failed to meet the rigors of their hearing ear program. The young dogs that will be flying the Foxbrush flag are again the best that could be found. Foxbrushes goal is to do some showing and if sufficiently successful to selectively breed to produce a Border that can be easily recognised as a Foxbrush dog, similar to those highly successful Border Terrier show kennels in the U.K. such as Dandyhow, Mansergh, Farmaway, Plushcourt, and many others. These prefix's appear often in the Foxbrush pedigrees giving rise to the possibility of realizing this goal. Any surplus puppies will be available to selected pet homes, and the Foxbrush stud will be available to a few approved bitches.  Again just call (519) 395-4930 or e-mail canadale@hurontel.on.ca for more info or to be put on the waiting list.
